Gravity Shift's original prototype inspired the development of Designed for the GMTK Game Jam in 48 hours, this little yet powerful game unveiled our basic gravity manipulation system.
This project let us realize how important accurate visual feedback is for changes in spatial orientation. Players required instantaneous knowledge of how gravity changes their movement, which drove our creation of the gravitational field visualization system applied in Gravity Shift.

Although Quantum Echoes never became a full game, our capacity to control the multi-dimensional physics of Gravity Shift directly resulted from our study of sophisticated state management and user mental models.
